How does it work?
SPapers Peer Review is a place for authors to get helpful feedback and improve their research manuscript. SPapers Peer Review is open to all academics who wish to submit an article for review or to volunteer as reviewers.
SPapers connects authors and reviewers for free
Peer Review that is being done for free is free.
It is transparent, not anonymous
Both the author and the reviewer know each other’s identity. After connecting via SPapers, they can decide to communicate outside the SPapers system.
SPapers Peer Review is different from refereeing for journals
Please read our Author & Reviewer Guidelines before you sign up.
It is private
Only author and reviewer, besides SPapers managers, have access to the Peer Review Report. The results of the peer review are not displayed publicly.
Author, submit your request
Go to the Request Peer Review page and tell us about your manuscript. You will receive an email from us within two working days with additional questions. These questions will be based on your initial request and will help us decide who can review your manuscript. The reviewer can be someone within the SPapers network or another person that you suggested. Finally, we will always ask your approval before sending your manuscript for review.
What’s next?
We will keep you updated and let you know if the review of your manuscript has begun, and send it back to you when it is finished. At the end of the process, you and your reviewer will receive a Peer Review Report.
